About Goodwin Contracting

Doug Goodwin has been working in the irrigation industry for over 30 years. In 2006 he started his own company and today we have five full time staff and casual staff to call on as required – no job’s too big or too small.

We do everything from system design and supply through to installation and service in the Canterbury region. Farmers come to us for solid experience, service and advice, no matter the size of their project. Our main focus is the agricultural industry, but we also serve those in the forestry, horticulture and viticulture sectors. 

Our solutions are designed to be cost effective, resource efficient and long lasting. We offer a 12 month workmanship warranty on all of our work and there’s no maintenance contracts. We appreciate the unique needs of every operation and we work around your schedule so your workflow isn’t interrupted.
